Welcome!

Hello. I am so glad you are here. I pray that with each post you read, you will be blessed. My plan is to share my ups and my downs, where I've been, and how I got where I am now. My biggest goal is to share with you that we serve an awesome God. He loves you and me. God had sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for each and every one of us. He is continually showing up in my life. He is also realigning my heart and my motives in life. This can only happen when we stop and allow Him to take control.

My true heartfelt journey started when I had lost several people in my life who were very dear to me, and two of them were those on whom I had put my faith. I was basically tagging along for the ride. So I did not really know who I was. I knew who I was to them. Then they were gone. I was so lost. My life was lived in a constant fog.

It took years (too many) for me to find who I was and who I needed to become. There were so many ups and downs. But I was finally tired of trying to figure it out on my own. God was there. He was just waiting for me to see I needed Him.

I took a mini vacation where cell service was spotty, and God showed up. He reminded me of who I was in Him. He began to remove the bricks that I had put up over my heart. He showed as a loving father would. His arms were open wide, just waiting for me to return home to Him. (This is the image you need about our Father and His love for you.)

That is where my journey started, the journey that He had and has for me. I have found that our Heavenly Father is always ready to meet us, no matter where we are. No matter how we feel or even how we see ourselves. You see, He sees us with love, a love that cannot be matched by anything or anyone. He wants to have a relationship with us. Be our friend, father, provider, and protector. He loves us so much that we cannot fully fathom the depth of His love.

So come along with me as I share my ups and downs and my journey

Some days are more difficult than others

I was sitting here and thinking about the week I have had. For me, Sundays are a day to reflect on my entire week. I look at my wins, losses, and where things stayed the same. I do reflect often throu
