The Difficult Moments

As I continue my journey, every day is an adventure. Some adventures are fun and exciting, and some are hard and difficult. The fun ones are really easy, and I wish all adventures were that way, but they are not. But we need those days that are more difficult, the hard days, the days when we question all the whys.
We need those days to strengthen us. To teach us to become stronger where we are weak. But most importantly, we need to learn to lean on Jesus.
He is the creater of each one of us. He knew you and me before the beginning of time. He formed us in our mother's womb. His desire is for each one of us to have a personal relationship with Him all of the time, not just sometimes.
Sometimes when life seems tough, unbearable, and just plain frustrating, it could be God stretching you, preparing you for the next level. It could also be Him wanting you to seek Him.
For myself, when I seem to get frustrated, it can be linked to myself sometimes trying to rely on myself, not on God. When I take my eyes off Jesus. It can also be an attack from the enemy.
This is where you need to do your part with an open heart and seek God. Be still and just listen to him. He will speak to you to reveal what is going on if you are willing to listen and follow His direction.
This was particularly difficult for me, as I can be stubborn. I also struggled with the true love that Jesus had for me. I felt broken and damaged. I couldn't understand how God could love me. This was also due to my growing up and not really knowing how a father loves his child. So this was difficult. As God worked on the inner me, a transformation occurred. First on the inside, then that started to show on the outside to the world.
I am by no means perfect. Every day is a learning experience for myself. I learn every day to seek God as my provider and my protector, and I am accepted by Him. With this mindset, I do not need to strive to be accepted by everyone else. I can be me, who God created for such a time as this.
Yes, this can be your life too. Seek God with an open heart. He is there for you. He is for you. He wants to heal you and make you whole. He loves you.
When you read the Bible, ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and He will. He so wants to be fully in your life. Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
I pray that the words written here will bless you. Just keep going.
